Sue is a graduate of Utica College where she received her B.S. in Social Work. Shortly thereafter, she began working at what was then St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital as the Assistant Director of Volunteers. Currently, Sue is the Director of Volunteer Services at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare where she oversees the management of over 200 volunteers, an Assistant Director of Volunteer Services and Human Resources, a Volunteer Services Coordinator and 2 Greeters. She chairs the Reward and Recognition committee at the hospital whose activities recently received national recognition.

Sue’s involvement with the Peacemaker Program began when several of her friends began designing tables for Come to the Table. Sue has been designing tables herself for the past 3 years and in 2008, she joined the Come to The Table committee to chair the Preview Gala. In 2009 and 2010, Sue has served as the chairperson of the event.

In the past, Sue served for several years on the board of the YWCA where she helped to coordinate events like Salute for Outstanding Women. Currently she is a member of the New York State Director’s of Volunteer Services (NYSADVS) where she has held several offices at the state and local board level.
